Hey, Idols!
Struggling to find the perfect eyeliner to suit your eye shape? Don't worry, we've got you covered! In this blog post, we'll be sharing some tips and tricks to help you achieve the most flattering eyeliner look for you!
First things first, it's important to identify your eye shape. There are six main eye shapes: almond, round, monolid, hooded, downturned, and upturned. Each eye shape will benefit from slightly different styles of eyeliner to enhance your natural beauty.
🎀 ALMOND: Classic winged eyeliner is perfect for you! Start by drawing a thin line along your lash line and gradually increase the thickness towards the outer corner of your eye. Then, draw a diagonal line from the outer corner of your eye towards the end of your eyebrow and fill in the wing. For this look, we recommend using our Ultimate Ink Eyeliner which includes a wing stamp to streamline the application process and make it easier to achieve the perfect winged look in a second!
🎀ROUND: For round eyes we recommend creating a cat-eye look. Start by drawing a thin line along your lash line and then draw a diagonal line from the outer corner of your eye towards the end of your eyebrow. To finish, draw a small flick at the end of the diagonal line to create the cat-eye effect.
🎀MONOLID: Apply a thin line along your lash line, then create a small wing at the outer corner of your eye. This can be super flattering, why not experiment with a different colour eyeliner than the usual black to match your outfit/mood also?!
🎀HOODED: Start by drawing a thin line along your lash line and then creating a small wing at the outer corner of your eye. If you do not wish to accentuate your hooded eyes, keep the wing small, or make it more exaggerated if you'd like to enhance it!
🎀DOWNTURNED: Draw a thin line along your lash line and then create a small wing at the outer corner of your eye. Make sure to keep the wing pointing slightly upwards to lift your eyes.
🎀UPTURNED: we recommend drawing a thin line along your lash line and then creating a small wing at the outer corner of your eye. Keep the wing pointing slightly downwards or more straight across to balance the natural shape of your eyes.
